Kim Evans is an advanced practice nurse who is board certified in Adult Health, Advanced Holistic Nursing and Amma Therapy. She was the first one in KY.  to complete a fellowship program in Integrative Medicine with Dr. Andrew Weil through the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine in 2006. She is the founder of Institute for Integrative Medicine and one of the creators of Intentional Wellness.

Kimberly May is the owner and founder of Inspire Wellness LLC, and is a practitioner at the Institute for Integrative Medicine. She has over 10 years experience in the Health and Wellness field, is a Licensed HeartMath® Provider and a Wellness Coach Specialist and trained in various other healing modalities. She also uses her marketing and business background to coach other Wellness Providers and is proud to be a partner in the Intentional Wellness Team with Dr. Clifford Kuhn and Kim Evans, ARNP. 

Clifford C. Kuhn, MD, the Laugh Doctor, is a physician, medical school professor, comedian, professional speaker and personal consultant who helps individuals and groups enhance performance, productivity and health by creating and sustaining more fun. In 2004, Dr. Whitney Jones founded the Colon Cancer Prevention Project with the mission to eliminate preventable colon cancer death and suffering by increasing screening rates through education, advocacy and health systems improvement in Kentucky and surrounding communities. Since that time, the Project has been instrumental in creating increased awareness throughout the state of Kentucky, and more recently, in advocating for the successful passage of the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program, which creates a colon cancer screening program for the uninsured and an accompanying educational campaign to inform all Kentuckians of the need for colon cancer screening.

Book: Why Don’t You Understand? A Gender Relationship Dictionary

Dr. Karen Gail Lewis has been a marriage and family therapist for 39 years in both Washington, DC and in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She is author of numerous books on relationships — on marriage, for singles, and adult siblings. Her most recent book is Why Don’t You Understand?  A Gender Relationship Dictionary.  For the past 16 years, she has also run Unique Retreats for Women.

Eli Karam, Ph.D., LMFT is a clinician specializing in couple and family therapy and maintains a private practice in Louisville, KY. With over 10 years experience as a mental health professional, and a graduate of both The Family Institute at Northwestern University and Purdue University’s Department of Child Development and Family Studies, Eli is currently the President Elect for the Kentucky Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (KAMFT) and an Assistant Professor in the Family Therapy Program in the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. There he conducts research on couple and family relationships, teaches and supervises therapists-in-training. Dr.Eli also educates the public through various television and radio appearances.
