Tonight’s guest is Dr. Eva Markham to talk about Tourette Syndrome!

Dr. Markham is a faculty member in the U of L Dept of Pediatrics, practicing at the Weisskopf Child Evaluation Center. Her areas of interest include autism, feeding and eating disorders and Tourette’s Disorder. Dr. Markham has over 30 years experience. She is actively involved in treating clients having Tourette’s/ tic disorders. She has facilitated a support group in the Louisville area for individuals/ families affected by Tourette’s and is a frequent speaker on related topics. Dr. Markham is the KY representative for the Tourette Syndrome Association and frequently donates her time to projects that benefit individuals having Tourette’s / tic disorders.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Markham is serving as a member of the KY Board of Examiners of Psychology. During her Board Service she has chaired the Examination Comm., the Complaints Screening Committee, and the Supervision Comm. Dr. Markham served as Board chair in 2012-2013.

Dr. Markham is a native Kentuckian. She has 2 daughters, and 4 grandchildren. She serves as a deacon at Christ Church Cathedral (Episcopal). In her free time she enjoys reading and walking.
