Tonight’s Guest:  Dustin B. Wygant, Ph.D.

Dr. Wygant is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University, where he serves as the Director of Clinical Training for the new doctoral program in clinical psychology. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Miami University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Kent State University. His research interests include forensic assessment and the psychopathic personality. For the past three years, Dr. Wygant has been studying the psychological characteristics of inmates at Northpoint Training Center and the Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women. Aside from his academic position, Dr. Wygant is a licensed clinical psychologist. He regularly consults with attorneys and judges on forensic assessments for the court for issues such as competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and risk for violence.
