Ms. Vantrease received her B.A summa cum laude from Murray State University in 1998 and graduated University of Louisville in 2001. She has been Assistant Public Defender. She joined Kentucky Elderlaw, as associate in 2011 and became partner in January of 2013. Ms. Vantrease is the Chair-elect of the Elderlaw Section of the Kentucky Bar Association and a member of Probate Section. She is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, the Louisville Bar Association, and is a VA accredited attorney. She was voted a Top Elderlaw Attorney by her peers in Louisville Magazine in 2012 and again this year 2013.

Kelly Gannott serves on the Public Service Committee of the Louisville Bar Association. Before becoming an attorney, se was an editor and reporter at community newspapers. She grew up in Western Kentucky, where she was very close with her maternal grandmother. That relationship is what inspired her to become an elder law attorney.
